Gran Turismo 7 could come to PC

PlayStation racing title Gran Turismo 7 might be coming to PC in the future.

That's according to the CEO of developer Polyphony Digital, Kazunori Yamauchi, who told GTPlanetas reported by VGC – that he would consider looking into a PC port of the 2022 game. He did, however, add that bringing the title to PC would be a difficult task.

“Gran Turismo is a very finely tuned title,” Yamauchi said.

“There are not many platforms which could run the game in 4K/60p natively, so one way we make that possible is to narrow down the platform. It’s not a very easy subject, but of course, we are looking into it and considering it.”

PlayStation is bringing more of its first-party line-up to PC. This started in 2020 with Horizon Zero Dawn and has continued with the likes of Death Stranding, God of War, Days Gone and Marvel's Spider-Man.

Sony has even set up a PC publishing division and last year acquired porting specialist Nixxes as part of this strategy. The company reckons it could make $300 million from PC games sales this year
