CHARTS: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 outsold Steam Deck last week

The latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise made more money on Steam last week than Steam Deck.

This is the first time that Valve's hardware hasn't been No.1 in the Top Ten since June of this year. Given that Steam Deck costs at least $500, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 must have sold a lot of copies to have made more money than the console.

Modern Warfare 2 comes in both first and second place due to the fact that there were two options for purchase. Steam Deck came in second place, ahead of Paradox's Victoria 3, which makes its debut in fourth and seventh places, while the Grand Edition came in at eighth. Cyberpunk 2077 returns to the Top Ten in fifth place, while Persona 5 Royal drops from third to sixth place week-on-week.

RimWorld's BioTech expansion pack falls to No.9 from fifth place, while pre-orders for Football Manager 2023 came in at No.10.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending October 30th:

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Activision
2. Steam Deck, Valve
3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Activision
4. Victoria 3, Paradox
5. Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt
6. Persona 5 Royal, Atlus
7. Victoria 3, Paradox
8. Victoria 3 Grand Edition, Paradox
9. RimWorld - BioTech, Ludeon
10. Football Manager 2023, Sega (P)
