Tetris Effect soundtrack breaks into BIllboard 100

The soundtrack for Tetris Effect has broken into the Billboard Top 100 album sales two weeks after its launch.

As reported by VentureBeat, the release – from artist Hydelic – claimed the No.97 spot in the chart, coming in ahead of 6-Pack from Florida Georgia Line and Lil Wayne's Funeral. The Billboard rankings track album sales as well as how much they have been streamed.

Tetris Effect launched for PS4 in November 2018 before coming to PC in July of the following year. A VR version was released for Oculus Quest in May 2020.

The soundtrack was released in May 2020.

The title was developed by Monstars and Resonair. Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Rez and Lumines fame co-produced Tetris Effect.
