Indie games publisher tinyBuild expands into Boise with new studio

American publisher and developer tinyBuild will expand into Boise, Idaho.

The new studio is being opened in partnership with Guts and Glory developer Jed "HakJak" Steen. It will be focused on a new IP, a game is already in the works and is set to be announced at a later date.

As a result of opening the new office, there are positions available for Unity programmers, 3D game artists, 3D technical artists, creative writers and more.

The firm's new studio is its second in the US, but fourth overall - it joins Seattle, Amsterdam and Riga in Latvia.

"I believe it's increasingly important for smaller studios to come together and work on something that's bigger than the sum of their parts," said tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik (pictured).

"I'm extremely happy to have opportunities where we can build studios around talented individuals like HakJak."

In February 2019, tinyBuild secured a $15 million investment in a Series-A funding round.
