Polish publisher Klabater buys Heliborne IP

Polish games publisher Klabater has acquired the rights to the Heliborne IP from the studio that made it, JetCatGames.

The title launched as a partnership between the two companies in October 2017 and has sold around 100,000 copies since its release. Around 800 people have played the game each day on average, too.

"As the publisher of Heliborne we have had an influence on the promotion of the title so far, but unfortunately not on the development of the game itself," Klabater marketing director Łukasz Mach said.

"Last year, the gaming community demanded new content and events in the game, among other things, and we could not deliver it. We are convinced that this will change with the takeover of the IP rights."
