Jen MacLean has joined Xbox as the firm's GM of game creator partnerships.
MacLean revealed the news in a post on LinkedIn, adding that she is now leading the team whose job it is to bring third parties to Microsoft's games ecosystem.
Previously, she was the head of worldwide biz dev for small and mid-sized game studios at Amazon Web Services as of April 2019, following almost two years as executive director of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA). Prior to that, she held leading roles at Comcast's games business, 38 Studios and StoryArc Media.
She is still a board member of the IGDA Foundation.
"As the GM of Creator Partnerships, I lead the team responsible for third party business development and account management on the Xbox platforms," MacLean wrote.
"And as a longtime gamer, I can't imagine a better way to support devs around the world in creating the very best player experiences and building."
Microsoft recently hired Valve vet Kim Swift to head up its cloud games business, too.
