Battlefield V hits Steam concurrent player record

EA's Battlefield V has hit a brand new record for concurrent players on Steam.

As reported by SteamDB, DICE's shooter had 90,759 users playing the game at the same time earlier today (Friday, November 24th). At the time of writing, the title has 67,899 players and is the game with the 14th highest concurrent users on Steam.

This comes as Battlefield V has been discounted by a massive 92 per cent as part of the Steam Autumn Sale.

Before that price cut, Battlefield was V was attracting a peak of around 19,000 concurrent users; when the Autum Sale hit, the title shot up to 52,157 simultaneous players on November 22nd before rising to 77,840 the following day.

The previous record for concurrent players on Battlefield V was 85,527 users back in September 2021.

Battlefield V launched back in 2018 though only came to Steam in 2020. That was when EA decided to cut its strategy of bringing PC games exclusively to its own Origin platform.
