Powerwash Simulator hits 12m players

PowerWash Simulator has attracted more than 12 million players since its release.

That's according to developer FuturLab, who posted on its website thanking the game's community. The studio also called out its numerous downloadable content packs for PowerWash Simulator, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Back to the Future and Warhammer 40k.

Powerwash Simulator initially released into Steam Early Access in 2021, with a 1.0 launch coming the following year.

"We are continuously in awe of the impact our game has made on people," Futurlab CEO Kirsty Rigden said.

"Now with a staggering 12 million players, it’s clear that there’s a desire for games like PowerWash Simulator that provide a soothing sense of satisfaction – and we intend to make them!"

FuturLab was recently acquired by developer and publisher Miniclip. No figure was put on the deal.

In May 2023, FuturLab announced that Powerwash Simulator had brought in over seven million players.

The title has been in Xbox's Game Pass subscription, meaning that today's announcement doesn't translate to 12 million sales.
