The developer of Hollow Knight Silksong has vowed to fix issues with the game's Simplified Chinese translation.
In a post on Twitter, the studio's marketing and publishing bod Matthew Griffin thanked its audience from China for letting them know about problems with the title's translation.
On Steam, Simplified Chinese and Japanese are the only languages that have 'Mixed' reviews. The Simplified Chinese translation, in particular, is seemingly not accurate or nuanced enough.
"To our Chinese-speaking fans: We appreciate you letting us know about quality issues with the current Simplified Chinese translation of Hollow Knight: Silksong," Griffin wrote.
"We'll be working to improve the translation over the coming weeks.
"Thanks for your feedback and support."
The eagerly awaited Hollow Knight Silksong was released on September 4th and instantly broke Steam. The title has accrued a peak of almost 600,000 concurrent players on the platform.
