We now know more about Dan Houser's Absurd Ventures

More information has been revealed about Rockstar veteran Dan Houser's new company Absurd Ventures.

The outfit is described as a media company that is focused on creating new IP across a variety of platforms and formats. Absurd Ventures is going to be developing "narrative worlds", creating characters and making stories for "a diverse variety of genres".

This isn't limited to video games, either; Houser and Absurd Ventures are open to producing content for mediums incuding live-action, animation, graphic novels and "scripted podcasts".

“We are building Absurd Ventures to create new universes and to tell great stories, wherever and however we can,” Houser said.

Absurd Ventures was initially set up in July 2021, though we didn't have any real information about what Houser was up to until now.

He co-founded Rockstar Games in 1998 and left the company in 2020.
