Frontier unveils its Foundry publishing label

UK games firm Frontier Developments has revealed its new publishing label, Frontier Foundry.

The venture was announced at yesterday's Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, alongside two titles that it is releasing. The first is co-op platformer Struggling from Montreal developer Chasing Rats, which is already out on both Steam and Switch. The second title Foundry showed off was Ratloop Games Canada's strategy title Lemnis Gate.

This follows Frontier landing its first third-party publishing deal with Haemimont Games in June 2019.

The company also recently scored the Warhammer Age of Sigmar IP, as well as the license to make F1 management titles.

"We've announced further releases to an already exciting line-up for FY21," Frontier boss David Braben (pictured) said.

"Our team has done an amazing job developing strong releases for all four of our existing titles, and I am also looking forward to seeing the reaction to our first two Frontier Foundry games - Struggling and Lemnis Gate."
