Epic Games Store users experienced some issues with the platform yesterday.
Gamers reported problems with the Fortnite maker's storefront and launcher, they were unable to login and access their games library for a period of time on October 13th. The company acknowledged the issues, taking to Twitter to inform its users.
"We are aware that some folks are unable to login to the Epic Games launcher and are working on getting the service back to normal. As a workaround, you can elect to skip login to access games that don't require you to be online."
Services came back online relatively quickly, with the storefront taking to Twitter to announce the news, allowing PC gamers to regain access to their games.
This is due to the final event in Fortnite’s Season 10. “The End” event saw the entire map get wiped out by an asteroid, leaving a black hole in place of the island gamers go to battle on. Currently, on Fortnite's official Twitter page you can see a live stream showing the vast nothingness with a black hole in the middle.

Epic Games will want to avoid further outages as its users may purchase the upcoming PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the store from November 5th.
Login services have returned to normal. We appreciate your patience.
