Chinese entertainment company GAEA has acquired a 20 per cent stake in Canada-based Fallout Shelter developer Behaviour Interactive.
The investment will be used to fuel Behaviour's growth and help it establish a presence in the Chinese market.
The news follows the pair previously announcing that they are co-developing Game of Thrones game for mobile, which is based on HBO’s show rather than the books.
"As a Montreal-based organisation, we understand that the gaming industry continues to grow rapidly on every continent", said Behaviour Interactive CEO Remi Racine.
"This strategic partnership with GAEA will fuel our global growth on all platforms.”
