Microsoft has provided prices for its two upcoming Xbox Ally consoles.
Per Xbox Wire, the regular ROG Xbox Ally will set consumers back $599.99, while the beafier ROG Xbox Ally X will cost a whopping $999.99. The hardware is set to launch on October 16th and can be pre-ordered in 38 countries.
The Xbox Ally consoles were revealed in June. They are powered by a custom version of Windows 11 and silicon via a partnership with AMD. In August, Microsoft revealed details of its Handheld Compatibility Program – its version of Valve's Deck Verified scheme – which gives information about how well games are optimised for its hardware.
"One of our core goals with the Xbox Ally was to deliver a distinctly Xbox experience in the palm of your hands," the company wrote on Xbox Wire.
"With the Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally, you can look forward to an approachable gaming experience that travels with you wherever you go, featuring several new and first-of-their-kind features on both devices."
