Lighthouse taps industry vets to head live service and platform teams

Leamington Spa's Lighthouse Games has hired two industry veterans to head its platform and live service teams. 

In a post on LinkedIn, the studio announced that Justin Logan was joining as director of live service, having previously worked at the likes of Microsoft, Electronic Arts and Jagex. Prior to joining Lighthouse, he worked at, er, Build a Rocket Boy, where he worked as director of data, analytics and insights for the developer before leaving in April 2025. 

Meanwhile, Ricardo Rego is taking on the role of head of platform; he previously worked at Bossa Studios for over six years in product roles, before joining 2K Games as an executive producer, then Quell after three years. 

"Happy to finally announce that I’ve joined Lighthouse Games as director of live service," Logan wrote. 

"Looking forward to building amazing experiences with this talented team. Can't wait to show everyone what's next." 
 
Rego added: "We have big plans ahead so keep an eye out for updates later down the line." 

Lighthouse was founded by veterans of Playground games in 2023. Since the studio has landed funding from Tencent, with the Chinese giant doubling down two years ago.
