CHARTS: Halo content helps Helldivers 2 return to Top Ten

Dystopian sci-fi shooter Helldivers 2 was the second highest grossing title on Steam last week. 

The game shot up 14 spots to No.2 on the back of Halo-themed content launching on August 26th. Counter-Strike 2 was once again the biggest game on Steam for the week, while PUBG: Battlegrounds dropped one spot to third. 

The newly-released Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater debuted in third place following its launch on August 28th; the game has come out to a positive critical reception. 

Steam Deck dropped two spots to fifth, while Path of Exile 2 returned to the charts in sixth thanks to new content for the Early Access RPG coming out. 

Apex Legends dropped two spots to seventh, while pre-orders for Borderlands 4 rose four spots to No.8. The game is set to launch on September 12th. Pre-orders for fellow 2K Games title NBA 2K26 were the ninth highest grossing title on the platform for the week wile No Man's Sky rounds off the Top Ten – returning to the Top 100 – on the back of the Voyagers content pack.
