Terraria hits one million Steam reviews, still boasts Overwhelmingly Positive label

Indie smash hit Terraria has become the first game on Steam to receive one million reviews and still have them be Overwhelmingly Positive.

That's according to @demizegg over on Twitter, who pointed out the milestone citing information from SteamDB. Of its over one million reviews, 97.86 per cent of them are positive, hence it still boasting an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on the platform. The title has a rating of 97.11 per cent.

Terraria isn't the game that has the highest number of reviews on Steam – that title goes to Valve's own Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which has over six million reviews but only 88.27 per cent of them are positive.

Games are given the Overwhelmingly Positive label if they have a rating of 95 per cent or more from at least 500 reviews.

Since its release back in 2011, Terraria has sold over 35 million copies. 17.2 million of those were on PC.
