Sniper Ghost Warrior series has shifted 13m copies to date

The Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise has shifted over 13 million copies in the last 12 years.

That's according to developer and publisher CI Games, which revealed that the most recent entry in the series – Contracts 2 – has sold over one million units since its release in June 2021.

"This milestone was achieved in under a year, selling faster than its predecessor, and is testament to the hard work by the team at Underdog Studio," CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski said.

"We'd like to thank our loyal fanbase who have supported the series over the years and also welcome all the new players who have helped us accomplish this goal."

In late 2021, CI Games rebranded the studio behind the Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise to Underdog. The firm is also planning on floating onto London Stock Exchange and has made a tender offer to fully buy back publisher United Label.
