Raft charts a voyage straight into second place in this week’s Steam Top Ten

Raft continues to be a tough boat to sink as it drifts ahead to take No.2 in this week’s Steam Top Ten.

The seaworthy survival simulator launched at No.3, holding the position for two weeks. The genre shows no sign of running out of steam, with two more permadeath playgrounds filling out the list. The Forest closes out the list at No. 10, one spot down on last week. Subnautica makes a return to the chart thanks to a sale and charity collaboration, emerging at ninth place.

Blood-sucking adventure Vampyr drives its stake straight into No. 3. Life is Strange developer Dontnod’s newest title takes a bold step away from teenage troubles to drop players into a grimier tale of vampires in post-victorian London.

Jurassic Park Evolution follows, opening the gates at fourth place. Frontier’s second take on park-builders swaps coasters for carnivores, adding a healthy dose of Jeff Goldblum for good measure.

Fifth place goes to the clunkily-titled Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr. A solid take on Diablo set in the grim dark future, developer Neocore has been active in outlining endgame plans and future content drops.

Continued updates and support help The Division secure a spot at No. 7. This weekend, Ubisoft revealed The Division 2. Set in sunny Washington D.C, due to launch next March, the sequel continues an important tradition of cheesy voice actor gamer chatter.

Finally, House Flipper climbs two steps up the property ladder to take No. 8, up from tenth place last week.

Below is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending June 9th.

  1. Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, PUBG Corp
  2. Raft, Axolot Games
  3. Vampyr, Focus Interactive
  4. Jurassic World Evolution, Frontier
  5. Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr, Neocore Games
  6. MISSING
  7. Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft
  8. House Flipper, PlayWay S.A / Frozen District
  9. Subnautica, Unknown Worlds
  10. The Forest, 11bit
