There's a new Portal game on the way

Six years after the last Portal game we are getting a spin-off title in Bridge Constructor Portal.

As the name suggests, this is Portal using the Bridge Constructor series, which has sold millions of copies around the world. It also features voice actor Ellen McLain, the talent behind the crazed AI Glados. 

The game has players tackling vehicle-based test chambers; these also make us of portal technology. Headup is handling publisher duties while ClockStone is the developer on the project.

The title is coming out on September 20th for PC, as well as iOS and Android. The console editions of the game are coming out in 2018.

This isn't the first time that Valve has loaned out the Portal IP. Glados has appeared in Poker Night 2, while the diabolical AI and series protagonist Chell were in Warner Bros toys-to-life title LEGO Dimensions.
