Annapurna hires Solar Ash vets to internal studio

Indie publisher Annapurna has made a number of hires to its internal development studio.

The company has snapped up game director Chelsea Hash (pictured), technical director Brett Lajzer senior producer Evan Hembacher, art director Cosimo Galluzzi and environment artist Nate Grove. All worked on Heart Machine's 2021 release, Solar Ash, as well as the Kid A Mnesia: Exhibition digital art installation.

At Annapurna, they are working on a brand new unannounced project.

“We’ve worked closely with the people at Annapurna Interactive for years and this was an exciting next step for us to be able to integrate with the team,” Hash said.

“We are working toward a special new experience and look forward to revealing more details.”

Annapurna's internal development studio was announced back in October 2020. It is based in Los Angeles. This comes in the wake of the company hiring Capybara co-founder Nathan Vella as part of its exec leadership team in May of that year.
