Natalie Clayton joins PCGamesInsider.biz and PocketGamer.biz as staff writer

The eagle-eyed among you will have already noticed a new face writing for PCGamesInsider.biz and PocketGamer.biz.

Games developer and journalist Natalie Clayton has joined Steel Media as a staff writer, working across both PCGamesInsider.biz and PocketGamer.biz.

Clayton comes on board with a wealth of experience across both journalism and games development. She has completed a degree in Games Design and Production Management at Dundee's Abertay University, as well as worked at Minecraft console version studio 4J.

Additionally, her work has appeared on PCGamesN, Rock Paper Shotgun, Eurogamer as well as Polygon.

"It's a great pleasure to welcome Natalie and to bring her talent into our award-nominated team. Steel Media has had a busy 12 months with InfluencerUpdate.biz, PCGamesInsider.biz and BlockchainGamer.biz launching into our portfolio. Their growth has put us in an excellent position to recruit and expand," COO Dave Bradley said.

"Natalie is already well known in the games development and journalism space, having delivered a talk at A MAZE Berlin recently about developing small games, and making the GamesIndustry.biz's Top 100 Rising Talent list. We're very much looking forward to her seeing her words on our industry-facing sites. Her passion for writing about the games business will enable Steel Media to push ahead with our ambitious plans for 2018.

"And we're still growing! Steel Media is on the hunt for a social media/audience development contributor for Pocket Gamer."

Clayton added: "This has been a completely wild six months of getting into games writing - formalising that in the last month here at PCGamesInsider.biz has been great, and I'm excited to see where this latest opportunity takes me."
