Three new faces join Women in Games board

Three new faces join Women in Games board

Women in Games WIGJ has made a trio of appointments to the board.

Multiplay Events manager for business development Vanessa Joyce (main picture, centre) has joined the non-profit organisation.

Back In August she was named as corporate relations and strategic partnerships consultant for UKIE to expand the trade body’s relationships with companies outside the games industry.

UKIE COO Daniel Wood (main picture, left) and Abertay University head of division for computing and mathematics Ruth Falconer (main picture, right) have also joined the board.

Leavers

Former board member, Abertay’s Gregor White, has stepped down.

Women in Games deputy CEO Leigh Jackson meanwhile has stepped down after three years due to “additional overseas work assignments”.

University of Salford’s Marie Stukoff has also left the organisation, who will now be focusing her efforts more on Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) and mentoring scheme the Salford Chapter of the Girls Networking.
