Report: More than 30 jobs axed at Agents of Mayhem developer Volition

All appears to not be well over at Deep Silver studio Volition.

Kotaku reports that more than 30 jobs have been cut at the development house following less-than-stellar sales for its most recent release, Agents of Mayhem.

That title debuted last month, but launched to mixed reviews and muted sales, from what we can make out.

The Illinois-based studio was also behind the smash hit Saints Row series, and until now boasted a 200-person team. The studio was purchased by Deep Silver back in 2013 in the fire sale that followed THQ’s demise.

The studio was set up in 1996.

Deep Silver is yet to reply to Kotaku's request for comment.
