Sperasoft hires former EA studio director Brad Doan

Games studio Sperasoft has announced that the company has hired Brad Doan to become its new senior director of project management organisation.

Sperasoft intends for this recruitment to improve the studio’s ability to project-manage games development in partnership with their major publisher clients.

Doan was previously the studio director of production in China for EA. “... at the core of our [Sperasoft’s] success has been our ability to attract some of the best, most creative and committed games developers,” Igor Efremov, Sperasoft President and CEO, said.

Doan has certainly got a lot of experience in game production, being credited as having worked on triple-A projects such as DICE’s Battlefield series, as well as Need for Speed from Criterion and Ghost. Furthermore, his previous position with EA could prove to be particularly helpful for Sperasoft as EA is one of their major clients.

It seems Sperasoft may be on the up-and-up and Brad Doan’s appointment is an indication of this.

“It is a very exciting time to be joining Sperasoft and I look forward to working with Alan [Van Slyke, sr. director of service delivery (production)] and Igor and the entire talented Sperasoft organisation,” Doan said. “Together we will grow the business whilst having the pleasure of working on some of the most exciting games in the world.”
